Discovery Accounting Are we a fit?
The person behind the work

Tiffany Davis, CPA

Founder & Chief Magic Maker

Tiffany has spent 25 years across public accounting, industry, and entrepreneurship to help organizations navigate change and improve how work gets done. She is the founder and self-described Chief Magic Maker of Discovery Accounting, LLC, where she works alongside clients on systems and process redesign initiatives that help untangle complex work and remove friction along the way. Her work centers on transformation rather than transactions, helping organizations move from stuck and overwhelmed to moving forward and empowered. Tiffany has built her career on solving complex challenges to make clients' daily lives easier.

When she steps away from her desk, the Colorado native enjoys time outdoors in her beautiful state playing disc golf, paddle boarding, biking, and camping. She is grateful for the love and support of her husband of nearly 20 years, friends, and family who remind her to laugh at herself and inspire her to live her personal mission of loving, learning, and leaving people and places better than she found them.

Credentials and recognition

Tiffany is a Certified Public Accountant and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, magna cum laude, from Regis University.

She also received Regis University's Award for Excellence in Accounting, presented to one outstanding graduating student demonstrating high academic achievement, professional excellence, and leadership in the accounting profession.

In 2025, Tiffany was named a COCPA Women to Watch Emerging Leader, recognizing women who demonstrate leadership and make meaningful contributions to the accounting profession.

Those credentials matter, but perspective matters too. Tiffany has sat in the seat and knows what the team is actually carrying.

Why this work

Tiffany is naturally drawn to solving problems and reducing complexity so clients can spend more time doing whatever fills their cup. She loves strategic projects and advisory work that create meaningful, lasting improvements for her clients.

She believes leadership is a team sport and values active listening, asking good questions, and working toward balanced decisions. Curiosity, paired with a willingness to challenge "the way things have always been done," is what keeps her coming back to this work. She is at her best untangling what feels harder than it should and finding a better solution with the team.

For Tiffany, the goal is not change for the sake of change. It is making the work easier to understand, easier to manage, and better for the people doing it.

Experience & perspective

Tiffany's career has taken her through industry roles, entrepreneurship, public accounting, advisory work, systems and process redesign, interim leadership, and firm-wide strategy.

She spent nearly 15 years building a client accounting practice while working full-time accounting roles before transitioning that practice to a regional accounting firm that was later acquired by a Top 20 firm. As a senior manager, she led advisory and consulting engagements and helped shape the future of client accounting services at the firm level.

Partnering with business owners through complex challenges, seeing how people, process, and technology can either unlock solutions or create obstacles, shaped how Tiffany thinks about work, resilience, and leadership. It also helped her recognize that consulting and problem solving are where her strengths and passion truly intersect.
